The 1/4" corresponds to a diameter of approximately 0.65 cm.
The 5/16" corresponds to a diameter of approximately 0.80 cm.
The 3/8" corresponds to a diameter of approximately 0.95 cm.
Light, medium, hard weight indicate the different tension of the rubber bands: low (light) and medium (medium) tension elastics are the most delicate; high tension (hard) elastics have a greater hold.
The elastics should be stored in a cool place to prevent excessive heat from drying out and cracking the latex.
